How to play Checkers

• Goal: Capture all of the computer's pieces, or block them so they can't move.
• Moving: Ordinary pieces (called men) move one square diagonally forward, onto an empty dark square. Tap your piece, then tap a dot.

🏁 Checkers grew out of alquerque, an older jumping game, when players moved it onto a chessboard in medieval Europe. In 2007 a team of Canadian computer scientists proved that a game of American checkers always ends in a draw if neither player ever makes a mistake!
