How to play Crown Grid

• Goal: Place exactly one crown in every row, every column and every coloured region.
• How to play: Tap a square to cycle it: empty → ✗ (a "not here" mark) → 👑 crown → empty. Long-press to clear it at once.
• Win: Every row, column and colour has its one crown, and no two crowns touch. Every board has exactly one answer — you never have to guess.

Did you know?

👑 Crown Grid grew out of the eight queens puzzle, set by chess composer Max Bezzel in 1848 and taken up by the great mathematician Carl Friedrich Gauss — a chessboard has exactly 92 answers. Puzzle magazines later added colour regions so every board can be solved by reasoning alone.
